Tree spotting in Finland

In ever adorable Finland there is a lot of nature, and in the past weekend I decided to check that out. Together with friends of course.

Saturday I've been to the wonderous Littoistenjärvi, a lake near Kohmo which is near Turku or part of Turku. In Finland you never know for sure. But we been there by bus and a little walking. We saw first a small beach and a whole group of geese being happy in the water. They stayed there the whole time we where at the lake, just being happy in the water. Then we spotted a rock, ofcourse we are somewhat crazy about Finnish rocks so we had to go there. For some odd reason we didn't give the first rock a name, but the second rock we dubbed, Duckrock ("da da da da da DUCKROCK!"). We named it that way because there where a lot of ducks sitting on the rock even purple ducks (Al I want to see is you and a purple duck. Purple duck! PURPLE DUCK!") After we scared the ducks away from there own rock, we left to visit the third rock, Chillingrock. You can gues why we called it that way.  After we visit the swamp, the viewingtower at the swamp and a viewing tower near the lake, we returned to Chillingrock for some more chilling 'till the end of the day.

I really love hiking and long distence walks trough nature. So after my great time at the lake I went with a nother friend to Ruissalo, to go hiking and to find the mysterious floating sauna. Ruissalo was deffently amazing, the you feel that you where litterly in the middle of nowhere. But then again, what do you espect from a country with only 5.5 million inhabitans on a area of  338,424 km². It was cool to make a little walk on the beach to go after that straight into the forest. We saw some cairns at the seaside which I was far to afraid to knock them over, it would surely happen to me. So we decided to go before something would happen. During our journey through the island we encounterd a deserted house. We could only dream that it was ours and we could renovated, because the house and the surroundings where ashtonishing. Also we wantend to climb on a viewingtower, but of course we tried and tried to find it. But at the moment we found it, we already on our way back, so we still could climb the tower. After that we visit the botanic gardens for some more pictures. After we decided that the time to go had come, we go for the bus. My friend wanted to go walk to the other bus stop to kill the time, we had to wait a couple of minutes. We spotted a whole field of geese who where awesome on the pictures we take. After some doubts from me that we where in the right direction. We found it and wait patiently for the bus. While we sit there, we start to wonder when the bus would come, only to discover that the bus only goes to that stop once in two hours and ofcourse our bus would come in one hour... so we had to ran for the other stop, or in our case fast walking. We saw the bus riding away so we could crying. I from laughing and my friend because he felt it was his fault, which of course isn't true because i didn't check the times either. After we waited for an hour for the bus, this time we didn't dare to do something to kill the time. But when the bus came, we were tired but satisfied and we want deffently go back to Ruissalo again. Next weekend, we go to another hiking track.

Oh and the mysterious sauna on the water? We never found. Only a sauna near the beach and a sauna where the 70+ nipples and boob/manboobs staring at you...
